Differential diagnosis includes ovarian cyst, ovarian cancer, benign ovarian neoplasm, and other pelvic masses.  Physical examination reveals palpable adnexal mass with or without tenderness.  Pelvic ultrasound performed demonstrating a complex ovarian mass measuring [size] cm with features concerning for malignancy, such as solid components, septations, or ascites.
