It is important for all healthcare organizations to work to reduce these impacts. To this end, SNHN has developed a Climate and Health Strategy which aims to embed climate change mitigation and adaptation across its core functions. As part of this process, SNHN included an environmental sustainability criterion as part of all requests for proposals for commissioned services.
